Travels of the Gavel, President Leigh's turn....
Every year we get a new president and every year the members of the club take it upon
themselves to share the deep and rich traditions of the Rogers Lions with the new president.
One such tradition is to "relieve" the president of his gavel and in this case the club has offered
to share a few hints with President Leigh as to who may have had his gavel at one time. Now
if Leigh was a good boy, he would have gotten the gavel back at Christmas, but obviously he
was not good as he still does not have his gavel back. Note that if the President does not have
his gavel back at the end of his term, well then his term can not end as he is required to turn
over the official Rogers Lions Gavel to the in coming president.
